“O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you, and be grateful to Allah.”

“So eat of that over which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses.”

What Is Unlawful — and the Slaughter
“Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine … and those killed by strangling, by a blow, by a fall, or by goring — except what you slaughter [before its death].”

“Indeed, Allah has prescribed excellence in all things. So when you slaughter, slaughter well: let each of you sharpen his blade and spare the animal suffering.”
