Who We Are — Zabeeha Farms is a halal slaughter and butcher facility (CDFA CLS-111) operating zabeeha.org and its in-store ordering systems.
Information We Collect — Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email, and pickup/delivery address. Slaughter records: California law (CDFA custom-exempt slaughter, CLS-111) requires the animal owner’s name and address on the official slaughter record; providing this is a legal requirement of ordering. Order details: items, cut preferences, appointment times, and order history. Payments: processed by Clover (Fiserv) — we never see or store your full card number; saved cards are tokenized and held by Clover, not by us. Video: if your order includes it, a short clip of your animal’s zabeeha is recorded and sent to you; clips are for you and are not published. Donations: if you add a Sadaqa donation, we record it to issue your 501(c)(3) receipt through the Ahlus-Sunnah Center. Website basics: cookies needed for the cart, checkout, and simple site analytics.
Text Messages (SMS) — We send order and appointment texts from (909) 991-3384 after you place an order or opt in. Optional marketing texts are sent only with your express consent. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. How We Use Your Information — To take, prepare, and deliver your orders; to text and email you about your order; to keep the slaughter records California law requires; to issue receipts (including donation receipts); and to run and improve our service.
Sharing — We share information only with the service providers that run our business — Clover/Fiserv (payments), our SMS and email providers, our website host — and with the Ahlus-Sunnah Center for donation receipts, or with authorities when the law requires (such as CDFA records). We do not sell personal information.
Records Retention — As a custom livestock slaughterhouse licensed by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (License CLS-111), we are required by 3 CCR § 913 and 9 CFR § 303.1(a)(2)(iii) to record, for each animal slaughtered, the date of slaughter and the name and address of the animal’s owner, together with species, weight, and inspection dispositions, and to report this information to CDFA on prescribed daily and monthly forms. We retain these slaughter and ownership records for a minimum of two years after December 31 of the year in which the slaughter occurred, consistent with the federal record-retention period in 9 CFR § 320.3. Records may be retained longer where required for an ongoing regulatory inspection, investigation, tax, or payment-dispute purpose. Other order history is kept for normal business and tax purposes, and personal information is deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably necessary for these disclosed purposes (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100(a)(3)).
Your Choices — California residents may request a copy of their information or ask us to delete it (except records the law requires us to keep) by contacting us at the phone or email above.
Security & Children — We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information; no method is 100% secure. Our site and services are not directed to children under 13.
